You will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada by our representative who will accompany you to Hurghada airport to fly to Cairo.
Start with the famous Pyramids of Giza and travel into the land of the pharaohs as you learn all about how the ancient Egyptians built the 7 wonders of the world. Hear stories about the history of the pharaohs and their pyramids: Cheops, Khafre and Menkaure. Experience an incredible view of the pyramids from the Giza Plateau.
The pyramid of King Cheops is the biggest of the Egyptian pyramids. The middle pyramids of Khefren is smaller than the pyramid of Cheops with its height 143.5 m. and the smallest pyramid is of king Mykerinus with its height of 66 m.
Travel further in the Valley of Kings and see the famous Sphinx before visiting the renowned Egyptian Museum. Admire the treasures of Tutankhamen while learning all about the different dynasties of the old kingdom. See the great Ramses II and the mysterious King Akhenaten. Though not included in the price, the Mummy Room is a worth a visit. After visiting the museum, regain your strength with a lunch in a local restaurant, before wandering the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. In the evening, enjoy a music and light show against the backdrop of the pyramids in Cairo, before returning to your accommodation later that night.
The next morning, travel by air-conditioned bus to Alexandria, into the city of Alexander the Great. Here start your tour from the most important defensive strongholds in Alexandria is Qaitbay Citadel, established in 1477 AD by Sultan Sayf ad-Din Qa’it Bay. The Citadel of Qaitbay was erected on the site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, destroyed by an earthquake. Enjoy the fantastic view, then visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, which date back to the days of the Romans. Catacombs (Kom El Shoqafa ) are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the middle Ages. Discover the necropolis which consists of Alexandrian tombs, statues and archaeological objects of the Pharaonic funeral cult with Hellenistic and early Imperial Roman influences. See the sarcophagi and graves as well as inscriptions from pharaohs, Romans and Greeks alike.
Enjoy a delicious lunch in a restaurant on the sea where you can eat freshly-caught fish. Afterwards, head to the National Museum and admire the treasures found in the sea nearby.
